Orchid Towny

We're a small Minecraft community committed to creating a fun, cozy, and welcoming server for all. We are a Towny focused server with custom fishing, farming, and enchantments, and world generation. We also have a job, skills, and ranks system. Our website (https://orchidmc.org/) has a list of towns where you can teleport to them on our web map, or you can go directly to the map at https://map.orchidmc.org/. You can create chest shops, list items on the auction house, or do jobs to earn money. Certain items like fish and custom farming goods can be sold to the server for more. We also have an admin shop to ensure that theres better access to certain resources, so there's nothing that's inaccessible to builders. Towns can discover and generate resources, too. Multiple plots can be on the same spot, but with a different Y level. It's like Towny apartments. It can be used for letting others build shops or embassies in your town, making inns, or making non-chunk areas for residents to claim for their bases. Our server shows quarters on our map, you can see an example of one here: https://map.orchidmc.org/#world:7211:124:1274:0:0.03:1.43:0:0:free 07 Feb 2026 Added Custom Enchants and Hyacinth Hello In our point shop, you can buy custom enchantments to put on your items. There's 5 tiers of enchantment, the first costing 5 points and the last 25. Points can be earned from voting daily and winning chat unscramble/type games that run hourly or participating in events. Points can also buy temporary effects like night vision or invisibility, clearing effects, or buying rare vanilla items. Hyacinth Hello is a plugin we wrote that lets players set custom join, leave, and death messages. They appear after the vanilla ones. 08 Feb 2026 Towny Addons Update We added a lot to Towny over the past few days. We now have flight for the Earl rank within allied towns and towns of the same nation. New players can also now use /t rtp to teleport to a random open town that has plots for sale. New players also have the benefit of being able to create camps, which act as temporary towns for 48 hours when a campfire is placed. Towns will now also automatically generate random resources that can be traded.
